A beautiful set of four black 1950s Ant chairs by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen.
This very early edition has the original rubber disc spacers underneath, similar to Eames construction. The same detail can be seen on Ant chairs at MOMA and the Danish Design Museum.
The original gloss black finish evokes the ant more than any other. These chairs are structurally excellent, with minor losses in keeping with vintage.
The rubber feet have been replaced with official 2-part replacements. Otherwise they are original throughout.
