Prism Pendant, produced by Vitrika in the 1960s, gorgeous Hollywood Regency style crystal glass hanging light with gold plate, in very good vintage condition.
A beautiful crystal pendant, comprised of 12 round clear crystal glass pieces, stabilized by an inner brass frame and a brass or gold-plated grid (hard to tell – I am almost sure that it is gold plate) towards the top and a thick clear crystal glass plate towards the bottom. The lamp is suspended by a metal chain to support the weight of the heavy crystal glass and frameand ends in the original brass canopy towards the ceiling.
Both the circular crystal pieces and the bottom plate is richly decorated with embossed ornamentation to scatter and diffuse the light. When lit, the crystal glass almost glows, leaving a warm soft ambiance, while the gold plate radiates – perfect for a large dining table setting. This beauty would also look amazing in a kitchen or maybe lighting up a high ceiling hall way.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition with few normal signs of usage and age – no chips or other damage to any of the crystal glass pieces, only age-related signs on the frame. Please see the photos!
All original including wiring, chain and canopy to support and stabilize the light, all measuring 1′ 3″ (38 cm). Fitted with safety clamps for easy connection to existing wiring. Tested and fully functional.
Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective bag.
