An outstanding Danish modern teak dining table designed by Poul Volther, circa 1950. The table features gorgeous wood grain and sleek, Minimalist midcentury Danish design. The boat-shaped top rests on unique solid teak scissor legs, and each end of the table folds down for a more compact table if desired. Branded “Denmark” on the underside. The table is in excellent original vintage condition, with minor wear from age and use.
When fully extended the table measures 93″ W x 35.5″ D x 27.5″ H. It measures 53″ W with the leaves dropped down.
