Paul Newman (1925 – 2008) was an American actor, film director, and racing driver.
Newman was one of Hollywood’s most celebrated actors, whose famous films included The Hustler (1961), Cool Hand Luke (1967), Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), The Sting (1973), and The Towering Inferno (1974).
Newman was also a renowned racing driver and racing team owner, and a philanthropist whose businesses have raised more than $500 million for charitable causes.
