MILK GLASS pendant light with black decoration from the early 1950s – charming milky white glass lamp with brass lacquered top, in very good vintage condition.
This 1950s hanging lamp is made up of a round milky white glass shade with a wide lower half and a narrow upper half. The lower half is decorated with an abstract flower-like pattern, while the upper half is kept clean and are closed off towards the top by a round brass lacquered aluminum piece.
When lit, the open bottom ensures plenty of downward directed light, while the rest of the shade is uniformly lit, emitting a softly diffused light sideways and upwards. The black pattern gives the lamp a refined expression. It would be a beautiful addition to a modern kitchen or perhaps welcoming guests in a hallway.
All original parts, but rewired with 2 m (6′ 7″) high end quality, white fabric cord – for safety and beauty. Tested and fully functional. Cleaned, labeled and packed in protective plastic cover.
