The furniture was made between 1830 and 1840, in the period that took the name of Louis Philippe d’Orleans; This period indicated not only the time of his regency, from 1830-1848, but also a time with particular social, artistic, and aesthetic characteristics; the sumptuous and refined furnishings typical of sovereign residences were replaced by a style more inclined to functionality and practicality, albeit with the intention of making the state of well-being evident; our furniture, with its aesthetic characteristics, is a typical example of the Luigi Filippo style, a discreet and original piece of furniture, able to create quiet and peaceful atmospheres, giving romanticism and refinement to any kind of furniture. The chest of drawers has been completely restored by skilled craftsmen. Measures: cm. 103 x 55, H. cm. 95.
