This all original Ledge Back Seniah (Haines spelled backwards) was designed in 1955 for the home of Mervyn and Kitty LeRoy. Known as chair #13 model #966. The stylish legs are wrapped in Tortoise stained Leather and the rear legs have the signature Haines “kick”.
This chair has been reupholstered in the original fern print (currently still in production), a Haines favorite. It is fully restored and ready to go. This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of American design history. This chair is pictured in Class Act William Haines Legendary Hollywood Decorator on page 156.
