French Art Deco Marble Photo Picture Frame

Art Deco large photo frame in marble and bronze, of large proportions and in perfect condition, retaining original wine color paper surface protection to base. The wine and white streaked color marble is rounded at both front corners, and the half circle bronze supports have a triple reed pattern. This is an excellent example, as it can take the double sheets of glass in either portrait or landscape. The glass display area is approximately 22cm wide x 23cm high, and smaller photos can be “suspended” as if floating within the glass. General dimensions are approximate: Marble overall 30cm wide x 7cm deep x 2cm thick; the bronze components are 6cm deep, 3cm high x 3cm wide. France, circa 1930.
