An original antique Empire chest of drawers from the early 19th century from France.
The corpus of the commode is made from oak and is ebonized as well as polished.
The commode has four drawers and an original marble top. On both sides, it is flanked by round columns with silver plated bronze bases and chapters. One drawer has no fittings because it is a secret compartment. Each of the other three drawers has two round silver plated bronze fittings.
The chest of drawers is in beautifully restored condition with an original marble top.
