Antique Barker-Ellis Silver Plated Oval Serving Tray with Pierced Decoration

This antique silver plated serving tray was made by the renowned Barker-Ellis Silver Company of England, and dates to approximately 1920 and done in a Victorian style. This oval tray. The outer edge of the tray is done with an ornate stylized leaves which is accented by the stylized flowers and leaves used on the handles. The sides of the tray are done with a very detailed engraved border and pierced decoration. The surface of the tray is ornately engraved with stylized flowers and leaves with accenting scrollwork. The tray is clearly hallmarked with the maker’s mark for Barker-Ellis and is engraved “England” in script.
