Pretty side table with floral ornaments around the edge of the table. The mahogany veneer comes in good condition. The table has a drawer which is divided into itself, for example to store jewellery. Manufactured by Carl Löfving & Söner.
In 1916 he started his own studio in Stockholm and began working as a freelance furniture and interior designer. In the same year he won the first and second prizes for the furnishing of the Stockholm Stadshus. Carl Malmsten is one of Sweden’s most important furniture designers, alongside Bruno Mathsson and Yngve Ekström.
